The Ceco Connection

Tribco Construction Services was acquired by Ceco Concrete Construction in 2005. In early 2016, Ceco’s Chicago office merged with Tribco, further tying together the two companies’ deep experience across all elements of concrete building construction. Tribco and Ceco have both operated in Chicago for decades, with rich histories made up of diverse project successes. The merger enhances the strong bonding, financial, safety, engineering and management strength of the organization.

College Graduates

New Tribco employees undergo extensive training and are offered unique opportunities all throughout their first stretch of time with the company. Once hired by Tribco, in-office employees will be brought into quality control training, with exposure to onsite experience right off the bat. After the first year, you are sent to Kansas City for weeklong training, and once completed, your individual career path will begin to be determined and discussed. This deliberate development and training process has been designed to help accurately fit people where they want to go. Recent college graduates are given a thorough on-the-job education, with a development track that moves you through assistant project manager roles, project manager/quality control and then on to engineering or project management.

Craft Workers

At Tribco, we care about all levels of a construction career. Tribco works hand-in-hand with the unions to put a high value on ethics in the workplace and treat all employees ethically and with the respect they deserve. We require our leadership team to participate in ethics, compliance and fair wage training in order to truly support and understand unions and their needs.

Tribco Construction believes quality orientations and continuous training sessions are key. We developed an extensive in-house resource library with documents developed in collaboration with various staff across multiple departments. These “Best Practice” documents were then vetted nationally and made available to all employees. Best Practices help ensure all teams have the knowledge and expertise at their disposal on both a local and national level.

Skilled laborers on the Tribco team also have a “Cradle to Grave” training program at their disposal. The program provides in-depth, in-house resources as well as documents developed in collaboration with various parties and vetted by people nationally, from the very beginning to the very end of your career. Mentorship is never far away throughout your entire time here with Tribco, and as you show valuable leadership abilities, you are helped up that ladder.
