MEET THE TEAM: VICENTE CASAS, BIM MANAGER
May 5th 2023
At Ceco, hard work and attention to detail are characteristics that help our employees succeed and the company as well! Vicente Casas, a BIM Manager out of the Ceco - San Antonio office, is a great example of an employee who is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. His recent work on the Granite Park 6 job, located in Dallas, TX, has been recognized by his peers and supervisors, and project partners outside of Ceco.
Brooklyn Hartley, a Project Engineer at Austin Commercial, said the following about Vicente. “I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Vicente and everything he has done for the GP6 Project. Vicente has been a huge asset to the success of the Granite Park 6 project. He has caught so many issues that would have cost us all a lot of money to fix had they not been caught. He has an immaculate ability to pay close attention to details and spot improperly coordinated drawings between the contract documents and trade partners’ submittals. He has always been willing to walk me through any issues and ensure I understand the problem at hand. I am extremely thankful and appreciative that I had the opportunity to work with him on this project. He has gone above and beyond numerous times and always handles himself in a professional manner providing detailed PDF’s indicating issues or additional information required.”
Vicente is from San Antonio, TX, and has been working in the construction industry for over 25 years. He completed his AAS degree from ITT Technical Institute and is currently working on finalizing his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. He started his work in the residential construction industry and progressed into commercial construction, starting with an MEP, and has now been working for Ceco for 8 years.
