This 7-story post-tensioned concrete hotel was built by Ceco Concrete Construction, a nationwide design-assist structural concrete contractor. Ceco contracted with Paric Corporation to construct the entire concrete frame. Work managed by Ceco included drilled piers, foundations, formwork, concrete, rebar installation, and post-tensioning. In order to mediate complicated post-tension tendon layout caused by the “L” – shaped floor configuration, Ceco completed each slab in a single, continuous pour. Ceco managed an aggressive schedule completing one floor each week, making it possible for the hotel to maintain its grand opening date.
