This 26-story hotel casino and parking structure were built on mat foundations by Ceco Cocnrete Construction – a nationwide design-assist structural concrete contractor. Ceco contracted with Walton Construction to build mat foundations, the hotel/casino tower and the parking structure for this project. The mat foundation for the lower hotel required two pours totaling 7,140 CY, including 1,596 TN of reinforcing steel. Due to concrete temperature and traffic concerns, both pours began at 2AM.
