#Construction is underway at the New Female Housing Addition of the Baldwin County Jail in Bay Minette, AL with Wharton Smith. #CecoConcrete is completing full frame services on this project, including a 6-level addition to the existing jail, with 5 intermediate mezzanine levels. The slabs are a combination of 8" beam and slab, and 5" pan slabs using longforms. In addition to the jail addition, there are renovations to the Sherriff's building, a new Booking & Intake building, and the addition of a stair & elevator shaft. PH&J completed architecture services on this project, and structural engineering was completed by Blackburn, Daniels, O'Barr Inc.
