One of the first hospitals in Phoenix to benefit from a concrete frame in years, the Banner Estrella Medical Center Expansion utilized the wide module structural system to increase flexibility, decrease operational and renovation cost, and significantly reduce initial cost and schedule. The wide module allowed the project team to complete the addition at a rapid pace of 14,000 sf per month topped out. The Banner Estrella Medical Center Addition won ENR’s Best Healthcare Project – Southwest and Top Safety Award in 2014.
