In February, Ceco’s North Central Region won the annual Ceco President’s Safety Award for achieving the company’s top safety performance in 2019. The North Central Region includes offices in Minneapolis and Milwaukee, Wis.

About the safety award
Every year for the past 20 years, Ceco Concrete Construction has been identifying and recognizing the company’s highest safety-performing regional field location. Eleven locations participate. The competition is friendly, but it also is taken very seriously. Judging is based on extensive criteria, including site safety audits, field safety observations, near-miss reporting and total recordable rates of those regional field operations.

The winning region proudly displays the award for one year while also competing against other regions to try and keep the title. It is one more reason why Ceco’s field crews strive to deliver the safest working environment for their project teams.
