MEET THE TEAM: REY JARQUIN, NORTH FLORIDA AREA SUPERINTENDENT

As Ceco continues to grow and expand our reach in Florida, we are proud to see our employees grow with us. Rey Jarquin was recently promoted to North Florida Area Superintendent, a new position designed in part to empower him to continue developing and mentoring his team.
Rey started his career with Ceco in 2000, working at the Ocean Walk project in Daytona Beach. With each new project, Rey learned new skills and received increasingly more responsibilities. He was promoted to Assistant Superintendent for the 333 project in West Palm Beach. Shortly after that, he became Project Superintendent and successfully completed jobs that included the notable Church Street Plaza (Tremont Tower) and Lake Nona Hotel projects in Orlando. When in between his own projects, Rey helps other complicated projects set up and running right from the start.

1. What is the objective of your new position? To provide leadership to all project superintendents based out of Ceco’s Tampa office and working across northern Florida.
2. What vision do you bring to this role? Ensure every project has the proper labor force and resources—and that our work meets Ceco’s commitment while satisfying clients.
3. What personal expertise do you bring to your job? I am experienced and knowledgeable in concrete construction and project planning. I am committed to establishing open communication channels with Ceco’s field forces and building good relationships with our customers.
4. For customers, what are the benefits of working with Ceco? We provide proven workforce experience, which leads to safe jobsite conditions and shows in employee commitment, field production that achieves customer commitments and the quality of the completed concrete.
5. What hobbies do you enjoy? I enjoy going on trips with my family and attending family reunions.
