MERCY KINGS MILL HOSPITAL: ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE!

MERCY KINGS MILL HOSPITAL: ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE!

May 22nd 2023

No matter the project size, Ceco's crews perform at the highest standard! Recently, our Cincinnati office completed work at Mercy Kings Mill Hospital in Mason, OH with Danis Building Construction Company. The scope of work included two large 58,000-sf levels topped by two smaller 22,000-sf levels. This project also utilized cast-in-place (CIP) wide module concrete pan joist construction.

Anna Combs, Project Manager, Danis Building Construction Company.

"Thank you for your outstanding work and partnership on the Mercy Kings Mills Hospital project," says Anna Combs, Project Manager at Danis Building Construction. "Not only did Ceco assist during the early stages of design to assist with budgeting and cost control, but from an operational perspective managed delivery, material staging, shoring, decking, edge forms, featured monumental stair formwork and shoring, engineering, and much more."

"From the start of the project, your management skills and expertise provided great guidance to the success of the superstructure and leadership to all contractors involved. Ceco played a large part in the overall success by going the extra mile. Ceco understood the project goals and did everything they could to ensure we met the schedule by using creative thinking to overcome obstacles and putting in the time to make things happen."

"As a whole, the Ceco team served the project and exceeded all expectations with their overall performance. Everyone on the team was dedicated to the project, focused on safety, communicated with the project team, and crane operator in order to operate efficiently. The best part is Ceco actively participated in planning ahead through a pull plan superstructure scheduling meeting. We ended up hitting our last deck pour date and could hold the schedule almost a year later. Ceco accomplished meeting this schedule goal even with current construction conditions – weather challenges, supply chain challenges, labor supply challenges, increasing work volume, owner/designer changes, etc. – while delivering a safe and quality product with a cooperative attitude.

"I would like to express my sincere thanks for your contribution to our successful project. I look forward to the opportunity to work with Ceco in the future!"
