This famous 45,000-seat cast in place concrete stadium and home of the St. Louis Cardinals was built by Ceco Concrete Construction. Ceco succeeded on this extremely high profile project on a very tight job site adjacent to Interstate 40, with limited access. Scheduling and coordination were critical throughout project duration, especially as the old stadium was demolished during construction. Ceco used a beam and slab system on the main concourse, then constructed 2 private suite levels.
