THREE CONCRETE INPATIENT TOWERS AND A PARKING STRUCTURE

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Ceco Concrete Construction, a concrete formwork and frame contractor in New Orleans, built these three concrete inpatient towers requiring several structures of varying height and complexity. Structures ranged from 4 to 7 stories in height and included 3 inpatient hospital towers, a diagnostics and treatment center and a parking structure. The Parking Garage required a ganged beam system, while Ceco employed the wide module structural system (long-form and lap pans) on the hospital to cut cost, increase efficiency, and increase flexibility for future changes.
