Springfield Regional Medical Center

5-STORY ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL

Springfield, Ohio

The Springfield Regional Medical Center, 5-story acute care hospital was built by Ceco Concrete Construction Cincinnati office using the wide module structural system. Ceco used a 16″ by 60″ and 20″ by 66″ mild-reinforced wide module structural system to ensure maximum flexibility and rigidity with minimal deflection. Ceco worked with the design engineer and construction manager with value engineering and scheduling through the pre-construction phase, suggesting the wide module structural system to provide a better outcome for less initial cost and schedule, and less operational cost.
