CONCRETE SURGERY SUITES ADDITION WITH PARKING GARAGE AND MEDICAL OFFICES

This multi-level concrete surgery suites addition was built by Ceco Concrete Construction, a nationwide design-assist structural concrete formwork and frame contractor. Ceco completed this hospital with the mild-reinforced wide module structural system, providing superior flexibility to future changes than a steel frame. The wide module also delivers better infection control than a steel frame due to the elimination of fireproofing, and costs less initially.
In total, four new buildings were added to the existing campus. The new construction surrounded the existing complex and was all built at the same time. Ceco worked to successfully overcome the challenge of building while not disturbing the ongoing hospital operations.
